I thought only Argentinians hose down the dirt... Elvie Cronau dampening things down during a real blustery nor'wester!  Doesn't take long for everything to become covered in a fine layer of grit...

Joanne had just burst in to excitedly tell the Mongolians that she'd just heard that Colin Weare is going to Mongolia for a few months. Had to capture her excitement!

WE don't really see much likeness but the Aussies all did! Adrienne Sinclair from Saskatchewan and I were forever getting confused for each other by the people. They weren't even deterred by our different accents! It got to be really funny and everytime someone came to me I knew they would be thinking I was Adrienne, and sure enough...!

This was really funny. On way back from Wilmington to Kapunda we stopped for tea at the same cafe as just about everyone else from convention. The eating area was like the dining shed all over again! Rhonnie and Heather Crisp.

So for those who don't know, Joanne Campbell has been working in Mongolia with different co-workers. For the last 3 years she has been back in Australia. She saw a Mongolian person in the street one day and made herself known to them, which resulted in her becoming quite involved with the Mongolian community in Adelaide (each year the Aust govt gives a certain amount of places for Mongolians to come and study). A lot don't have much English, so were very grateful to have someone fluent in their language to translate for different occasions. (She has attended several hospital births so far, for non-English speaking women as a translator!) Another lady, a social worker realised she had been in Joanne's gospel meetings in Mongolia 10 years ago!.  Batjaa and his wife have been listening this year, and Batjaa decided he wanted to follow Jesus not long ago.  He has limited English so Joanne translated all convention - phew!).

They have ongoing meetings still with more Mongolian people, some have gone back to Mongolia and are in touch with the ladies there.
