I’m back from a month of special meetings now. This year for the first time during special meetings we had a small worker’s meeting (small because ours usually last two days at convention time!). This time it was NZ style, 2 hours. We had the meeting in the small agricultural town of Suardi in the province of Santa Fe. It’s about 10 blocks by 3! But quite a few friends live there. We had the meeting at the home of Alicia and Javier Senn, then a lunch all together in the home of Alicia’s parents (who are also the parents of Valentina de la Fuente who works in Colombia). Edgar and Lilia. Of course it was the traditional BBQ (asado). It was also a landmark day for entering entering my fourth decade of life! Here are some photos from the specials round.

And an unexpected trip in the Olmos’ housebus! I had to do some visits in a country town called Tres Arroyos, and they happened to be passing by and took me from Bahia Blanca (250 kms)

A few shots from the little farming settlement of Cascallares… this is where Lilia de la Fuente and her sisters heard the gospel and responded in the 60s. They are of Danish descent. It has a population of 600, and life revolves around the grain co-op.
